My Philosophy
Go hard and dun! Simply put, I give my best in everything I do.
I try to seek out opportunities where a small number of resources, time, or effort can make an excessively large contribution.
The impact gives off a ripple effect where one action sets off an entire cascade of responses whose overall impact can be huge.
That’s a major reason I chose to enter the field of Social Work, to be able to empower even a single person. This impact can be so simple; yet have a profound effect not only on that individual’s life but also on the many whose lives that person touches.
MISSION STATEMENT
To give support to all stakeholders that are aimed at promoting the positive growth, providing a sense of security, fostering synergy with peers and creating a culture of evolutionary learning for students, and helping rebuild broken parent-school relationships.
VISION

To provide a Guidance and Counselling Programme that will benefit both institutions by fostering trust building, nurturing and supporting growth among students, while celebrating individualism, encouraging inquiry and exploration of talents while maintaining a vibrant relationship with all stakeholders of the school community and by extension the nation.
General Objectives
To empower students, parents, teachers, and auxiliary staff to acquire the necessary skills, information and attitudes to understand and positively enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional development.
Specific Objectives:

Staff

To discuss with staff the guidance and counseling program.

To discuss a uniform approach to problem-solving involving counsellors and staff.

To arrive at a consensus on the roles and responsibilities of staff in the program.

To enhance professionalism among staff.
Students
-
To make available to each student, information that will facilitate his/her growth and development physically, mentally, and emotionally (Rights of a Child, affirmations, etc.)

Identify the needs of students by conducting Needs Assessment Survey among staff, students, and parents. This information will help the counselor to identify areas of emphasis

Help to guide students through different stages of their development.
Parents

Inform parents about the guidance and counseling program through the use of flyers and P.T.A. meetings

To enhance good parenting skills and positive attitudes in parents through the hosting of parent workshops (Next Gen Parent Club), Explain to parents their roles and responsibilities towards the school.
