It’s A New Season

Dear Joshua, January 3, 2016
It’s a new year. I made it! For me, it’s a new season for new things, for a change, for greatness, for joy, prosperity and for my dreams and goals to become a reality. So far I’m still left with harsh feelings from last year’s previous disappointments, but how do I get rid of this taunting daily feeling? Is this really a quest I must go on to get to you? Must I get hurt to appreciate you more? Right now, I can’t say “ok I´ll bear it for you” but hopefully one day I can look in your eyes and say “you are definitely worth it”.
I am aware that my new season will challenge me to take advantage of every opportunity and to launch out into the unknown. My craving heightens as I want to enjoy life; I want to see my island and the world God has established for His people. So I got 3 offers so far; to see the parish of Montego Bay and Westmoreland. No doubt getting there has its financial challenges but the hope of meeting you will enable me to push ahead.
My first date of the year is this Wednesday, not at all enthused but “yay”. He is not a vision of you; he is a fetus in the walk-in God, a sapling, a guy lacking in spiritual awareness. Do I think he is you? Not a chance, but trying to seize each opportunity that can open doors to you.
Signed: Miss Child of a Second Chance God
